Yep! Version 2.1 of our software is ready and we're just doing some final testing. It'll be released in Jan.

It will include a few bug fixes, better iPod integration and a really cool new extra feature that allows you to set the sleep time after power down. So, after the key is out of the ignition, you'll be able to customize whether your JK1001 sleeps for 5 seconds or 2 hours. If you are out running a bunch of errands and don't want to continue to have to wait for the system to boot up, this will be a nice feature to have. Obviously, the longer you allow it to sleep without fully powering down the more of a small drain it will be to your battery but this is why we made it customizable. Users can set it however they want.

As always, all Insane Audio customers get lifetime technical support and free software updates so look for this to come out in a few weeks!

Seconded. The version of google maps we're limited to is pretty ugly. As much as I like NaviEngine for offroad, the lack of real-time traffic is a killer.

In the works already. No official release date since there is a lot of testing we need to do on our end... but we're definitely working on it.

For those looking for better maps, simply load the WAZE app and connect to the wifi of your phone. Very simple and extremely effective.
