Turning off beeping sound during button press?

How do I turn off the beeping sound when I push a button?

To turn off the key tone, go to the system settings (either swipe twice from the top of the screen and hit the gear icon, or go to the Settings app), scroll down and go to Sound & Notification, tap Key Tone (at the top of the page), and select "off".

If "off" is not visible, you may have to scroll up, it is the first option in the list.
