Re: Suddenly won’t turn on
I'm glad this post is here - I just ran into the same issue. I removed the negative from my battery for a few minutes and then reattached. My JK2001 started right back up just fine. I've never had this issue and I'm curious how it may have happened. My Jeep was broken into last night (I left it unlo...

Re: The Power of Torque
I'm curious if anyone has been able to integrate inclinometer functionality into this. I've seen that the gauges exist, but I presume the intention is to get that data from the device running the app (phone or in this case the JK2001), -vs- get the data from the OBD adapter.
Any luck?

Re: Insane NavEngine's Placemark Update Project
Could you add this trail marker?
Schnebly Hill Rd to Sedona
N34 54.700 W111 38.622
Schnebly Hill Rd goes from I-17 to Sedona. This is on the I-17 end. This happens to be the only "Jeep Badge of Honor" trail in AZ today.
Thanks!

Re: Update didn't go right, or did it?
FYI: The same thing happened to me last night. I did the update exactly according to instructions and ran into the same symptoms. Luckily this post was here! :) I disconnected the battery's negative terminal and reattached. It then rebooted fine (although was stuck on the IA logo screen for a while ...

Re: Power extension cable for IACAM1
In case you care, I tend to document things I do to my Jeep here https://www.facebook.com/MyRedRubiHardRockJeepBuild/ . A post about this specifically can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/MyRedRubiHardRockJeepBuild/posts/1412008162220416 I tried attaching pictures I took, but the filesize res...

Re: Power extension cable for IACAM1
Just in case anyone else finds this when planning their installation... it's much easier to pass the wires through the drivers side than the passenger side into the engine compartment. So my temp solution of stashing the cables in the glove box (along w/ the external USB and audio cables) was no-goo...

Re: Power extension cable for IACAM1
I get that. However, the wire coming from the accessory harness is short (~6 inches?) so in my particular situation it made sense to connect the wiring from the IACAM1 (~6 feet?) so that I could button up my dash and just leave the cables sitting in my glove box. I understand that once I decide the ...

Power extension cable for IACAM1
I bought the IACAM1 to act as a front rock camera when I purchased my JK2001 upgrade. I have the upgraded head unit installed and the cables (power + video) sitting in my glove box. Now I'm trying to experiment with placement before I splice wires/etc. The supplied video cable is more than ample, bu...
